Attribution and license

Source data is provided by the nflverse-data project. Review its upstream license and release notes for the terms and qualifications that apply to the source files.

A reviewed supplement of 896 team-season records from 1999–2010 uses games-played counts independently verified against official NFL player career statistics, including Alan Faneca’s career record. These records supplement the nflverse files.

Qualifications

Gameplay eligibility is derived from player-stat appearances, positive game snap counts, and verified historical games-played totals. Roster presence alone is not proof that a player appeared. Player, team, color, and logo metadata provide enrichment. Historical source files can be corrected upstream, and names, team identities, season coverage, or appearances may be incomplete or contain errors. Offensive-line coverage before 2002 and some historical postseason appearances remain incomplete.
